Semantic Modeling
CheckMi's controlled vocabulary approach to layering of contextual, concept and data models is the result of over a decade's research and development at the intersection of collaborative (JDA / JAD) development, organizational memory, semantic metadata, 'mind' mapping meeting facilitation. Simply put CheckMi semantic modeling that uses controlled vocabularies :

• improves communications between groups tackling lack of information problems 
• promotes the integration of hybrid material (both predictable/formal, and unexpected/informal) into a reusable group memory 
• enables groups to collectively elicit, organize and validate information required by a particular user for a particular purpose
